Tackle it Tuesday: The yard

The backyard is finally starting to look like a yard, and not a barren wasteland.

After (this was right after we laid the sod down, the stuff up behind the retaining wall has all been planted now, most of it is no longer in pots)

Next up will probably be a new fence. Someone remind me again why we didn't just buy a new house???

Looks great! That must have been a lot of work. It is a little crazy for me to see green grass in the middle of winter, but I guess that's the benefit of living in SoCal.

Looks good. Isn't it nice to still be able to get out in the yard. Best thing about So Cal.

You did a nice job- what a difference! Nice to be able to garden in December. :-)

And you know, they don't usually do the backyard in new houses, and you're left with all the topsoil gone. So it all probably evens out!

Love it! You did a really great job. Hope it is in full swing for this spring summer to allow lots of BBQs :)

Wow, it looks great! Wish I lived somewhere where I could see the lawn instead of a sea of snow.
