Pictures
I decided today to take some pictures of Amelia, she is six months old now. Of course now that she is getting older ( and quicker) it's much harder to take her picture! She kept taking off. She wanted to sit in my lap and eat the camera while I took her picture. Here is my favorite of the pictures I took. I think we'll have to go to the photographer and get pictures done.
It's amazing how big my baby is getting. It can't be a half a year ago that I had her. She's crawling, chewing on everything, eating lots of foods, and even pulling up to standing. I miss my little snuggle bug, she would just burrow into my arms.

Play time!
Bad Joke of the Day
I don't know why I found this so amusing this morning, must be the sleep deprivation.
Sherlock Holmes in Heaven
Sherlock Holmes stood at the Gates of Heaven pulling at his pipe awaiting his turn. "I'll let you in," said St. Peter, gesturing toward the heavenly throngs behind him, "if you'll tell me who among these was the first mortal."
"Elementary, my dear St. Peter," said the great detective, "he's the one without a bellybutton."

The rubber duck
So Amelia generally hates bath time. She screams bloody murder. Someone suggested the big yellow rubber ducky bath tub so I thought it couldn't hurt. We bought it this morning, and tried it out after lunch today. She LOVES it. Here are some pictures of her, she had a blast. :-)

Hungry baby!
Amelia loves her high chair! She gets so excited when she gets in it, she loves all kinds of food. She is such a california baby, so far her favorite food is avocado. She is also eating applesauce, bananas, sweet potatoes, carrots, and rice cereal. Next we are going to try some pears I think. At the last checkup the doctor was concerned that she had dropped percentiles on height and weight, so we are supposed to get her to gain some weight. We go back the first of August, if she hasn't at least stayed consistent with her weight gain, we'll have to start doing testing on her, checking her thyroid etc. Dr. Tandon said to go ahead and get her eating 2 meals a day, and go through all the fruits and veggies. I'm making all of her food, and so far she likes everything we've tried.

30 Days
So I just watched the show 30 days. This episode was about a Christian, army reservist from Michigan who goes to live with a Gay man in the Castro in SF. Besides the fact that it made me totally miss being able to hop on BART and go to the city, I really enjoyed watching the episode. I think it's great that one person was able to see how someone else lives. Follow this link to find out about more episodes this guy is doing.

We're home!
Amelia and I arrived home at 2 am this morning from our trip to Oregon. It was so great to see everyone, but I'm really tired. She has grown and changed so much in just a month. She is getting into everything! She rolls everywhere, and she has gotten good at her version of crawling, shegets up on her hands and knees, moves her legs forward, then flings her self forward, down on her chest, and starts over. She looks like a little inchworm! :-) I'll post pictures and more stuff later.
